non-profit organization. Speaking Out for Animals rescues abused, neglected or stray cats/kittens,dogs/puppies in the surrounding areas. We are a No-Kill animal rescue group.We work out of foster homes and therefore do not have a shelter. S.O.F.A is also an active animal rights group.

The Animals Savior
I looked at all the caged animals in the shelter...the cast-offs of human society.
I saw in their eyes love and hope, fear and dread, sadness and betrayal.
And I was angry.
"God," I said, "this is terrible! Why don't you do something?"

I am the bridge
between what was and what can be.
I am the pathway to a new life.
I am made of mush,
because my heart melted when I saw you,
matted and sore, limping, depressed,
lonely, unwanted, afraid to love.
For one little time you are mine.
